WALES- A young teen from Central Massachusetts is back at home today after
spending a night in the woods. The 16-year-old became seperated from family members while walking in the Norcross Conservation
area. The boy was taken to a local hospital for observation but then released becasue doctors said he had no injuries.
WORCESTER- More than two dozen employees who work at St. Vincent Hospital have now
been diagnosed with whooping cough. As of September 7 at least 28 people have been confirmed of having the cough. Common syptoms
include severe cough with loud whooping sound, cold syptoms and gagging and vomiting.
Hopkinton- A 5 year-old girl from Hopkinton is being tested for Triple-E after being taken to the Children’s Hospital intensive
care unit with meningitis-like symptoms. According
to health officials the threat of the virus remains up until at least the first hard frost.
